The Health and Nutrition Club aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among students and young members of the community. Members give presentations on the first Tuesday of every month on various health concepts like the importance of sleep, or dietary planning. We also conduct outreach to the community by volunteering at the San Diego Food Bank, making coronavirus masks, and educating elementary and middle school students on important topics like the coronavirus vaccine. Given the fact that the most prominent cause of death in America, heart disease, can be prevented through proper diet and exercise, we find it vital to instill healthy habits in the community from a young age. If you are interested in learning more about health and would like to help make a difference on campus and in the community, follow us on instagram at @wvhealthnutrition or email us at wvhealthnutrition@gmail.com!
